what is a talent?

Anything that's entertaining that no-one else can do as well as you, we want to see crazy talents. Are you FUNNY, bendy, TRENDY, smart, SILLY, groovy, HIP, slick, MAGICAL, comical, MUSICAL or laughable? then come and take part on your own or with friends. Its Easy.

1. Decide on an act and rehearse until reasonably polished.

2. Email a video clip of your talent (no longer than 1 minute) to

3. You will get an email telling you lots of stuff that you'll need to read with your parents..BORING

4. The Kids got Talent team will upload your film onto our Youtube account and it will be seen by the world

5. Wait for our panel of experts to select the top 25 acts to go forward to the Kids Got Talent Final on Sunday 23th September 2012

All acts will be invited to perform at a preliminary "open Mic" night on 21st August to start building their fan base. All finalists will be offered help from expert performers before perfoming at Kids Got Talent on Sunday 23rd September.

Why are we doing this?

Well, The Bishop Meadow Trust want to buy an 800 year old meadow, to save it from being turned into anything other than a beautiful meadow. The festival will be held in there and if it turns out well we'll do more things in years to come. Meadowy sort of things.

Kidsfest was thought up by Kids, it's for Kids, and it's special because Kids don't get much chance to have their own thing in meadows. Grown-ups always do, but not Kids.

This meadow is magical, because Kestrels were flying when we were there, and they were looking for voles. If we don't buy the meadows, someone will come one day and they won't be there anymore. That will be sad, and we won't have such a beautiful place to be children.

Please come to our festival and help save our meadows.
